Last February, Inquiba closed the month with
the students of baccalaureate first course of Colegio San José of Villafranca
visit in the context of 2nd edition of Family Business in the
classroom, organised for the Extremeña Association Family Business, which we
form part.
This project brings businesses closer to the educational environment with the aim of teaching them about the role and relevance of family businesses in the economy and society. In this case, we started the 2nd edition by holding a meeting with the students at the San José School, which was very close and pleasant, before visiting the factory. Our general manager, Juan Carmona Béjar, conveyed his father’s entrepreneurial spirit by telling them about his experience as a professional and entrepreneur, taking them on a tour of the beginnings of Inquiba.
Motivating the entrepreneurial spirit in the region and showing the importance of giving continuity to family businesses in Extremadura are the foundations on which this program is based, in which a total of 800 students and 20 educational centers are participating, which represents an increase in participation of 40% compared to the previous edition.
