Last Friday, the 21st, we participated in the General Assembly of Members of the Extremaduran Association of Family Enterprise, a key annual event for the evolution and trajectory of the association. This gathering, which brings together a significant portion of the region’s business community year after year, marks a turning point for the 122 families that are part of the Association.

The event featured the presence of athlete José Manuel Calderón, who shared his experiences not only as a sportsman but also as an entrepreneur. Additionally, he presented some of the initiatives he has promoted in the region through his Foundation.

During the assembly, our Director General, Juan Carmona Béjar, was appointed as president of AEEF, assuming this new challenge with enthusiasm and great motivation, as he expressed in his speech: “I hope to continue the enormous work done by my predecessor in office, Miguel Ángel Leal, and to continue reaffirming the Extremaduran Association of Family Enterprise as an institutional, academic, and social reference within the business community and in everything related to family business in Extremadura.”
