Management Systems Policy

The Management of GRUPO INQUIBA is fully aware that environmental, energy, and consumer safety management in the production of its products—ensuring they are both energy efficient and high quality—is a guarantee for the future and a strategic factor for competing in today’s market and ensuring the company’s survival.

Therefore, the Management of GRUPO INQUIBA, within the scope of its production and packaging activities for surfactant, cosmetic, and detergent products, has decided to establish the following Policy on Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Social Responsibility, Energy, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Among its objectives is to meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as other requirements subscribed to by the organization or its stakeholders, and those specifically related to its products (Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Energy, Legality, Specifications, and Manufacturing Methods). It must offer a professional service that thoroughly meets expectations and continuously improves.

The goal is continuous improvement in all areas of GRUPO INQUIBA’s operations. To this end, it has chosen the following international standards as reference: ISO 14001:2015, ISO 22716:2007, ISO 45001:2018, SR10 model, IFS HPC, and ISO 50001:2018. This provides a solid starting point and a flexible development framework, depending on its objectives, for the development of its Management System for Quality, Environment, Energy, Good Manufacturing Practices, Occupational Health and Safety, and Social Responsibility. To achieve this, it sets forth the following principles to be upheld across the group:

  • Ensure the satisfaction of clients and consumers of its products, based on respectful treatment and an extra effort in the manufacturing process.

  • Commit to continuous improvement in terms of product quality, energy efficiency, and safety, through the application of Good Manufacturing Practices and a proactive stance towards the impacts and potential risks its activity may pose to stakeholders.

  • Commit to manufacturing its products in an energy-efficient way, improving the energy performance of its production process.

  • Identify and manage process risks and opportunities, and establish objectives and plans to achieve them in areas such as Quality, Environment, Energy, and Occupational Health and Safety, based on the organization’s context.

  • Commit to providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injuries and health deterioration.

  • Commit to the participation and involvement of the team and their representatives in the decision-making processes of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

  • Commit to eliminating hazards and reducing risks to occupational health and safety.

  • Commit to improving the prevention and control of risks inherent in major accidents involving hazardous substances, and to guaranteeing the appropriate level of protection, fulfilling obligations in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 840/2015 on control measures for risks from major accidents involving hazardous substances.

  • Prevent environmental pollution caused by GRUPO INQUIBA, in order to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with and protection of the surrounding environment.

  • Prevent injuries and health deterioration that may occur during tasks carried out within the organization.

  • Believe in a better future for the business group, where the client is always satisfied with its products, services, and environmental behavior in the course of its activities and product usage.

  • Commit to the following Social Responsibility principles:

    • Transparency, as a means of conveying and generating trust and credibility among stakeholders.

    • Accountability.

    • Ethical behavior, through the establishment of a corporate code of ethics and corporate governance practices.

    • Respect for stakeholders.

    • Compliance with applicable national and international laws and standards, as well as other subscribed requirements.

    • Commitment to Human Rights.

  • Achieve high competitiveness in its markets, based on customer trust and loyalty.

  • Minimize and prevent waste generation, emissions, and discharges, and provide training and resources to employees so they can actively contribute to this goal and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources.

  • Promote investments to improve and maintain its infrastructure (plant, machinery, and equipment).

  • Promote the design of new facilities, equipment, systems, and processes or the acquisition of new products, equipment, and services that use energy-efficient sources and/or improve energy performance. When acquiring products, equipment, and services that impact significant energy use, the company will inform suppliers that energy performance is an evaluation criterion for their acquisition.

  • Accept tasks and responsibilities to ensure product safety, so that consumer trust is preserved.

  • Ensure that everyone within the group is aware of their responsibilities regarding product quality and safety, fostering engagement with the company’s culture. For this, the commitment to Product Safety Culture at all levels of the organization is essential to the Management of GRUPO INQUIBA.

The Management of GRUPO INQUIBA is committed to ensuring that this Policy is known, understood, and available to interested parties, and to reviewing the Management System as often as necessary to maintain its effectiveness and intended purpose.
