After five months of work, the Capsule Dispenser Design Contest launched in early December last year, in which 81 students from the Industrial Design and Product Development Degree participated, has come to an end.
Alongside the University Center of Mérida (CUMe), where the teams that have been part of this contest are studying, we have held the awards ceremony. In it, the VJV team, composed of Vicente Berrocal, Josué Aunión, and Víctor Sousa, has received the first prize endowed with €3,000, while the second prize, endowed with €1,500, has been awarded to the TAMA team, formed by Vicente Collado Jurado and Gonzalo García Díaz.
In addition, six other projects have been finalists: MANUVI (Nuria Alfonso, María Victoria Vélez, and María Wen García), DIPROEX (Eduardo Corbacho Sánchez and Mª Luisa Gordillo), JURRA (Lara Jiménez and Juan Fernando Corrales), DESA (Laura Delgado Candil, Vega Andrés, and María Hurtado), REALPLA (Irene Muñoz and Clara Martín), and KÖNIG (Gonzalo Peña, Jacobo González, and Marcos Ocaña).
Personnel from Inquiba, the Open Innovation System team of the company, and some of the faculty from CUMe have participated, both in the contest’s verdict and in its monitoring.
